A REDHILL software developer has escaped the worst of the financial turmoil to be named as one
of the country's fastest growing firms in its sector.
Office Canopy Group (OCG), which lists Nuffield Hospitals, Shell and Virgin among its customers,
has been ranked 89th in the Microsoft Tech Track 100 as one of Britain's best performing
private technology companies.
The annual survey measures sales growth over the past three financial years and highlights firms
that are outperforming both the market and their competitors.
OCG, which posted a 40% annual sales growth over the three-year period with a turnover of £11.5m,
provides web-based software for companies to track money being spent on office supplies.
CEO Doug McLean said the firm, which is based at Clarendon House in Redhill, had recorded
sales of more than £14m this year. “This is a fantastic achievement for everyone at OCG
and clearly demonstrates our ability to deliver a valuable service to our clients.“
“It is testament to all our staff who have worked tirelessly to get the company where it is today
and we have high expectations for the future.“
